Multipolar Radio Frequency

The RF handpiece emits radio frequency currents, pulsing through 4 electrodes.
When these currents flow into the skin, the RF energy heats the water molecules in the dermis, up to a temperature of 42°C.

Causes coagulation of the Collagen fibers (the main protein fibers in the skin). The contraction of these fibers results in a firmer and tighter skin.
Stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen and induces generation of hyaluronic acid.
Improves blood circulation, which rehydrates the outers skin layers and results in a better skin tone.

Electroporation & Iontophoresis

The handpiece emits controlled, high-voltage electric pulses into patients’ skin.
These pulses increase electrical conductivity of the cell membrane and disrupt the lipid structure in the stratum corneum, leading to temporary formation of micro-channels in the outer layer of the skin.
These micro-channels are used for transporting hydrophilic active solutions into the deeper skin tissues.

Iontophoresis is a technique of inserting ionic substances into the skin, by applying a local electric current

Both technologies are used to effectively insert active therapeutic solutions across the stratum corneum and into the deeper skin tissues, in order to :

Repair skin problems (inflammation, irritation, pigmentation, redness,…)
Restore skin functioning
Boost skin hydration (also in preparation for destruction/construction treatments).
